Plant-based ingredient company Roquette has opened a maize starch dryer at its plant in Viramgam India. The new capability, the company said, will allow the site to better serve Food and Industrial markets with plant-based ingredients.

Commissioned in 1994, the plant in Viramgam initially had the capacity to process 75 tons of maize per day, since then, Roquette has quadrupled its manufacturing capacity.
